How It Works

Before Your Wedding Day

#1:

Purchase the bouquet style directly from my website to secure your wedding date and receive shipping / drop-off instructions.

#2:

Purchase a Pre-Paid Shipping Label

if you plan to ship your bouquet!

*more info below

#3:

Gather all supplies needed for shipping (cardboard box, packing paper or peanuts, paper towels, rubber band, ziploc bag, packing tape and your name & order number).

*Do not use any type of bubble wrap or plastic - this will suffocate the flowers.

On Your Wedding Day

#1:

Put someone in charge of your bouquet! It should be kept in water and out of direct sun when not in use (if possible). At the end of the night be sure to put it into water and keep it somewhere cool and dry.

#2:

Enjoy your big day!

After Your Wedding

#1:

Cut the stems off your bouquet about an inch and give it fresh water. This will help rehydrate the flowers prior to shipping / drop-off.

#2:

Pack your bouquet using the supplies listed above. Wrap a wet paper towel around the bottom stems of the bouquet. Cover the paper towel with a ziploc bag and secure with a rubber band. Fill your box halfway with packing peanuts, set your bouquet inside and fill the rest of the box until your bouquet is completely submerged.

#3:

Include your name and order number (or print your confirmation email!) and include in the box. If you purchased Stationary Florals or Vow Florals, include those pieces in a ziploc bag.

#4:

Ship or drop-off your bouquet! See shipping options below.

*we must receive bouquets within 3-4 days of your event. If you are getting married on a Saturday please plan to ship or drop-off your bouquet first thing Monday morning. I also accept Sunday drop-offs. The address will be provided on your confirmation email.

Shipping Options

Option 1: Ship It Yourself

Drop off your bouquet at your local FedEx location 1–2 days after your wedding. Choose Overnight Shipping, and follow the instructions above to ensure your blooms arrive safely. Do not let FedEx package it for you.

Option 2: Use Our Discounted Shipping Label

Want to save on shipping? We’ll generate a FedEx Overnight label using our discounted rate and email it to you in advance. All you have to do is print, pack, and drop off your bouquet.

How It Works:

  1. Confirm your order and add a $0 Prepaid Shipping Label to your cart.

  2. Email the following info to info@thepressedpetalco.com at least one week before your wedding:

    • Box dimensions

    • Ship-from address (choose which Fed-Ex store you will drop off at!)

    • Your Home address

    • Ship Date

    • Approximate bouquet weight

    • Your order number

  3. We’ll create your label and send it your way, along with a link to our short how-to pack video (QR code provided).

Important Notes:

  • Label requests must be submitted no later than 1 week prior to your wedding.

  • Your final shipping cost will be invoiced after your bouquet arrives.

  • To estimate the cost, take 75% off the regular FedEx Overnight rate.

  • Extra fees may apply for large/heavy bouquets—we'll invoice any difference.

Option 3: Drop Off Your Bouquet in Person!

My studio is located in Nipomo, CA. If you are getting married locally or within a reasonable drive, I highly suggest a drop-off vs shipping! Dropping off your bouquet will ensure it gets here on time and in good condition. The address and instructions will be sent in your confirmation email. Please plan to drop-off your bouquet within 1-2 days of your wedding - Sundays are great!
