Top Bouquet Trends for 2025 (According to Someone Who’s Seen It All)

Bouquet Purses

Hey flower lovers, Katie here. As someone who spends a lot of time staring at bouquets long after the party’s over, I’m here to spill the tea on what’s trending in wedding florals for 2025 — and what I’m loving (and not loving) about it all.

Bouquet Purses — Yep, That’s a Thing

Okay, I’ve seen a lot of creative ideas over the years, but this one made me do a double take. Picture this: a purse made of flowers. Some are dainty, others are full-on wearable art pieces that double as clutches. It’s giving “Garden Party meets Runway.” I can’t decide if I’m obsessed or terrified, but one thing’s for sure, it photographs amazingly.

If you’re going for whimsical, bold, and a little extra? The bouquet purse might just be your moment.

Texture, Texture, Texture

Fluffy, feathery, dried, and fresh — 2025 is the year of the mixed-medium bouquet. Think airy grasses meeting structured blooms, or succulents paired with soft petals. Texture adds movement and personality, and when I press these kinds of bouquets? Chef’s kiss. They create depth and dimension in your keepsake piece that all-white bouquets (sorry, not sorry) just can’t compete with.

Color is Back, Baby

White and green will always be classic, but this year, couples are leaning into COLOR — rich peaches, terracottas, pinks, rusts, even pops of blue. As someone who believes flowers should make you feel something, I’m thrilled to see couples ditch the neutral-only look for palettes that tell a story. Go bold! Go moody! Go for the “wow, I didn’t expect that combo but I love it” reaction.

Tiny Bouquets, Big Personality

Petite bouquets are making a comeback, proving that you don’t need size to make a statement. A few thoughtfully chosen stems with unique textures or unexpected colors can be more impactful than a giant armful of roses. (And bonus — they’re easier to hold while you’re dancing.)

Sentimental Stems

This trend never goes out of style, but I’m seeing it more than ever: adding meaningful elements to bouquets. Maybe it’s your grandma’s ribbon, a charm from your mom’s wedding day, or even a sprig from your childhood garden. When I preserve those details, it turns your piece into a story — not just a design.

Trends are fun, but your bouquet should reflect you. If that means rocking a purse made of peonies, a wildflower explosion, or a jewel-toned showstopper — do it. The only “wrong” bouquet is the one that feels boring to you (and trust me, boring bouquets don’t make great art later).
